| This is a non-dealer sale. I am not a dealer, or in the business of selling cars. This is a great opportunity for you, the prospective buyer, to purchase an awesome 2004 Mazda RX8 for many, many thousands less than retail. In fact, I will argue that my car is in the best condition, best optioned for the lowest price on ebay. The best part, is that my car’s engine is broken in, and the car has proven to be perfect mechanically, so you won’t have to gamble on brand new car reliability issues. The full factory warranty is still in effect from Mazda, 4 years, 50,000 miles.

This car is located in Louisville, Kentucky. I am only 25 minutes from our hastle free Louisville international airport, which hosts Southwest, AA, Delta, United and US Air. Please understand that this car is absolutely flawless. There are NO dings, NO scratches, NO blemishes. There has never had any paint work and this car has never been hit nor has it ever been in an accident. There is no difference between my car and a brand new car on the dealer lot. My car comes with the tire repair kit. It is not equipped with the Mazda “small” rescue tire.
This car is a 2004 model and it has only 8,188 miles on the odometer. This has been the most fun car that I have ever owned. It pains me to sell it, but I need a larger car now. Although it seats four full sized people very comfortably, it still only seats four! I have four children, so it’s just not working out for me. Of course I knew this before I bought the car, but I was so in love with the car and its performance, I thought that I could make the practicality of carrying my family work out. I hope that you can make my loss your success!!
This is a great car. It has not had a single thing go wrong with it. I am getting between 17 and 18mpg in the city and 24-25 mpg on the highway. All recalls to date have been completed, including the latest ECU software update.
This past summer, I purchased new slotted front and rear rotors from Vivid Racing.com
I also replaced the front and rear brake pads with a product from Vivid Racing called Project MU. They are awesome and as a bonus, they completely eliminate brake dust!
The cost of the brake upgrade was $645.00.
Next, I replaced the mediocre Potenza factory performance tires with the excellent Continental Conti-Extreme Contact high performance all season tires. This cost was $652. If the buyer is in a cold climate, you will appreciate the all seasons for ice and snow. The RX8 only comes with summer tires.
I replaced the gear shift knob with a Mazdaspeed product from Mazda. It is awesome. Cost was $120. I have the original knob also for the new buyer. Also included in the sale is a Mazda sun screen for the front windshield and factory Mazda floor mats.
Lastly, the car comes with a complete, moderate window tint and optional wheel locks for the factory rims.
This car listed at $32,879. My sale price is only $24,395.
