| This car has over $16,000 of enhancements. Dave Barninger, the noted Rotary mechanic of KDR rotary (see details at KDrotary.com) has done all major work on it.
MOTOR/TURBO REPLACEMENT
At 81,000 miles KDR Rotary performed the following upgrades:
Replaced both motor and turbos.(the newer and more efficient efini turbos)
Torque measured at 267.5 ft-pounds
Horsepower measured at 254.5 horsepower
Forward catalytic converter
Twin tip Racing Beat Muffler (Looks and Sounds Great)
All vacuum hoses replaced with silicone tubing (Great way to minimize maintenance)
Sway Bar installed
RELIABILITY MODIFICATIONS (all performed by Mazda Service)

Pettit TKT Cold Air Induction System (uses K&N components, and is one of the most advanced systems for Rx7s)

I've owned the car since Jan, 1999, when it had 31,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner. This is my sixth, (yes, that's right, my 6th), RX7. The car is in very good condition, and is driven every week.
I have all paperwork during this entire time, including modifications and oil changes, which I will provide for inspection to a serious buyer.
Please note also what I have NOT had done to the car:
No porting of the rotors
No modifications of catalytics that would compromise emissions legality
No modifications that would require modifications of the ECU
No modifications that would increase rotary detonation probabilities
No modified lightweight racing clutches that increase noise in the car
Many people start with a good RX7 and modify it into an unstable RX7
I started with a very good RX7 and applied most of the KDR and Rob Robinette reliability suggestions to make it run cooler, more reliably and with less wear on components, than a stock RX7.
Vehicle has never been smoked in.
Problems with the car:
Air conditioning part needs to be found and installed so that air and heat work appropriately. (Mazda doesn't have the part anymore).
Passenger seat leather is a little worn, see pictures, but leather is still perfectly ok.
Variety of normal door dings, (see pictures).
I have gotten many compliments on the hood latches, and I like them, but if you want to have a full functioning hood it will take replacing the hood.
The luggage cover works great but one piece of plastic has broken.
The bose speakers could use an upgrade, but work ok.
The paint clearcoat is beginning to show signs of wear. Car still looks great, but at some point it should get a new paint job.
