The ideal guide to improve your Mustang.:
If you want to improve your Mustang from simple maintenance to upgrading your brakes,rebuilding your engine and more this is a great book to have. This all colour book covers 101 projects from a simple oil change right up to an engine rebuild and offers how to's,do's and dont's.Even tells you what tools you need and the estimated time it will take to complete each project. Good value book for every mustang owner.
Great Place to Start:
This is a great place to start for novice car buffs who want to upgrade the performance of their classic Mustang, but don't know the difference between a cam shaft and a drive shaft. Like an earlier post stated, this is a list with color illustrations to give you ideas on how to do everything from switching to an aluminum driveshaft to adding a Monte Carlo bar. It is not that great of a how-to book, but it is a wonderful place to start.
Intended for the novice:
If you have any automotive knowledge and experience beyond the novice level, this book is not for you. The book is not a bad reference guide, but is more a list of recommendations than a how-to book. The layout and the photography is well done, but the pictures for the too few how-to articles tend to be more before-after than a detailed step-by-step format, which would be a welcome addition. Informative Read:
This book presents a lot of ideas for projects in a way that the average person could understand the level of difficulty involved and the tools and products necessary to complete them. Excellent full color photos. If you are a master mechanic or engine builder then this may not be challenging enough. However, if you own a Mustang in need of repairs or upgrades, then this is a great place to begin.
