Tiny!:
I thought this book was going to be the size of the pharm pocket book, but it is way smaller! Lots of information in a little book. The book is about the size of my hand, maybe a little smaller. I can read the print well without difficulty. Definite good all around primary care book.
Perfect "Go-To" Pocketbook:
Since obtaining this book shortly after starting my intern year, I have yet to find a more concise pocket reference for everyday (and some not-so-everyday) problems seen in the primary care and other settings. I love this book:
This book has been a great resource while zipping through clinical rotations. It may not cover *everything*, but the bulleted format hits most of the important information and points you in the right direction. The information is mostly grouped in categories--cardiology, endocrinology, pediatrics, etc.--which makes it easy to scan for the information you need. For a quick reference and reminder, it is well worth it.
Tarascon Promary care pocketbook, third ed:
Very small print difficult to read and the information is not easily found you have to search it.
