This is an invaluable tool for the serious grower. Any experienced gardner will be able to use the information in this book to fabulous advantage. Although highly technical, (the authors go to great lengths to substantiate all the material presented in a scientific manner)the book is formatted in such a way that it can be used by anyone to diagnose and treat pest/disease problems event by event, rather like an encyclopdia. This is a monumental effort, 220 page plus book well laid out and researched with heaps of references and an easy to follow index of pests and diseases plus biological solutions as the title indicates. Members may recall that John McPartland in fact all the authors were very helpful to NZHIAI some time back regarding MAF's (Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries) request for information regarding industrial hemp pests and diseases.
