Just what I was looking for!:
This book is filled with flavorful recipes from different ethnic cuisines and turns what is frequently bland vegan food into brilliantly savory fare. You don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to make use of it for delicious vegetable side dishes that will complement any entree. It's just what I was looking for!
Meh. There are better vegan cookbooks out there:
I've been a vegan for almost 10 years now, and I love spicy food whether it is a fiery pa-nang curry or a flavorful boraccha sauce. Good & easy vegan cooking:

I have cooked many recipes from this book for various guests and in all cases received very positive reviews. She... more info
Excellent addition to vegetarian cooking library:
This is an excellent cookbook with many delicious and easy to follow recipes. I love spicy food, and Vegan Fire and Spice certainly lives up to its name. In my experience, many cookbooks skimp on spices, but not this one. Even if you are used to automatically doubling or tripling the amount of spice in a recipe, do not do it with this book without first sampling the dish, because she doesn't mess around with heat.
