Gilad's Abs is a good workout but...:
It's a little too short a program. Every exercise is a good one but I find I need to add reps to almost every section. Definitely not to the vertical leg lifts though. Good beginners program.
Great for lower back pain:
I have used the VHS tape for years to relieve strain in my lower back. A therapist showed me pelvic tilts for my back pain, and strong abs help a strong back to keep yourself pain free. This cd provides both. Whenever I let testosterone take over and do something stupid to strain my back, a few days of this cd alleviates the pain without a doctor/chiropractor bill.
An exercise video I can always find the time for:
I grow tired of exercise videos after a few months but not this one. I started out doing the entire video but found that I can now skip from the warm-up to the challenge segment and maintain my degree of abdominal fitness cutting down on the time I need to fit this video into my day. The warm up is good for keeping the entire body limber and stretched out. I added small free weights for upper body work to the warm up segment. Gilad is easy on the eyes and the background music is not annoying.
gilad usually does better:
I didn`t like this one because of two reasons
1. He is counting here really strange, i honestly didn`t like that "2-count" type of workout, fisrt he made you do the move on 2-count, then the same move at regular 1-count, this was a bit confusing for me.
2.The overall workout is waaay too easy. For those, who doing 45/45 split routine - this one is going to be a breeze.
I like Gilad generally, think he is awesome, but this particular workout is not for me. May be for the first... more info
