Customer Review: incredibly written, frank and directly to the point. Mr. Bourdain pulls no punches, not for the faint of heart or weak in the stomach. A great read.
Customer Review: I love Anthony Bourdain's work, but maybe I've been over-exposed. This book felt like more of the same. That's not to say Bourdain isn't a sharp writer or a wicked observer. I got a bit bored in this one, though, feeling like I had read it all before.
Customer Review: enjoyed the book very much, had memories of working in my dads' restaurant while i was in high school. It reinforced my desire to be a nurse.

Customer Review: Heard the complaints about not enough writing, too many photos. A little is a lot when you're reading Bourdain and the photos give a real sense of place. I loved it!
Customer Review: I read this book on a beach in Jamaica and it was a quick and entertainig sequal to "Bone in the Throat" that is about a Chef living the island life trying to run from from the mob. I was fully entertained. This book is nothing like "Kitchen Confidential". It's fiction.

Enter Michael Ruhlman's //The Elements of Cooking//, in which he tries to condense... more info
Customer Review: 1. Bad Tony on the horse. 2. Admits he is not the best chef in the world. 3. Bad Tony hating on the rest of the Food Channel cooking staff. 4-10. His romantic love for the French.
