Customer Review: I like the technical written content of this book. It has a lot of practical tips and information on maintaining a scooter. Unfortunately, the black and white pictures are grainy and dark. That, coupled with the cheap materials used for this paperback book make them darn near unusable. I would say I... more info
Customer Review: For Begineers who want to understand the basiscs of their machine.. I found it very easy to follow in the most part, not to use on a certain bike, but with a bike manual it will be great help. It covers a wide variety, but I sensed speceific hostility to my baby (Harley Davidson), but oh... more info
Customer Review: I personally found this manual to be a little confusing to navigate, i've read other manuals that are much easier to follow. This one will do if you are cost conscious but there other choices out there. As a really good alternative try "How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive" by John Muir.

Customer Review: I was interested more in CR-V manual then Civic. This wasn't extremely helpful in my case. Hopefully book serves better for Civic owners.
Customer Review: Why does this company have to publish these auto repair volumes on paper little better then toilet tissue? The information is fair to good, but with the poor quality paper, the photographs are almost useless for ready reference. $15- $17 is an OK price, just don't pay the list of $25. My rating... more info
Customer Review: I bought this just to have a reference in case I wanted to look something up. I hadn't had it two weeks when I ran into a problem that the shop couldn't figure out. After reading the appropriate section I figured out what was wrong and fixed it myself!
Customer Review: Sorely disappointed. This manual is not up to the normal level of detail and quality I expect from Haynes Manuals - of which I have many. No info on electronics! Print quality can be rather weak in some Haynes volumes, but this was poor. I returned it and found what I needed to know on the web.
Customer Review: I found a lot of the information useful in this manual, but it was lacking detail that would have made some of the repairs that I made easier. For example, when replacing my clutch fan on front of my engine, it did not mention that there was an access point at the bottom of the fan shroud. After a... more info
Customer Review: I just received my copy of this book and I don't find anything wrong with the photos like many other reviews posted here. This is my second Haynes book, the first one is Honda Civic 1984 thru 1991 which I have used extensively for my '89 Civic Wagon 4WD. I used it to do some major maintenance work... more info
