Customer Review: Good if you know the subject or are a mathematician. Arfken's Mathematical Methods for Physicists book has a section that is better than this book. The problem is that it is not extensive.

Customer Review: Don't buy this book! Although this book is cheap, the quality is nowhere up to the standard you would be expecting. The book's notation is utterly hard to read and understood. It is too compact that the proofs are harder than anything to follow.
