Customer Review: My daughter had to read this book over the summer for a grade in her Honors English class. I liked the fact that it was cheap, but on the other hand, what I paid for shipping I could have went ahead and purchased it out of the store. I wasn't to thrilled about that!
Customer Review: This is a world I had no idea about, well a small idea about, but now I think I understand a lot more, thank you Mr. Haddon. A very good, no, a very excellent book, sure there are times I want it to move faster or there is too much info about this or that but on the whole one of the better books I... more info
Customer Review: Last night I began reading Artemis Fowl because so many of my friends were saying they were rereading the series for the fifth or sixth time. I began to get excited as well, especially after finding out that it was about a 12 year old evil genius. I finished the book earlier today and found that the... more info
Customer Review: Book 2: School's Out-Forever was a really good read that was fast paced and filled with lots of action. In Book 2 the flock find's a home with Anne whom they struggle with whether or not to trust. I enjoyed book 2 more than book 1. Great series for all ages.
Customer Review: I ordered this book for a young man going into middle school. It was required summer reading and he could not afford it. I know Walter Dean Myers always has wonderful books.

The rest of the series is vastly different, in a far more modern (perhaps even slightly futuristic) world... more info
Customer Review: This is the perfect place to start if you intend to read murder mystery books with any regularity. The story has been done in plays and movies and on TV for decades but it is only in reading it that you catch the early clues and nuances of the characters. Your knowledge is broadened to the allure of... more info
Customer Review: A dreamy story with fairy-tale elements featuring an unlikely hero and a sadistic prison guard who makes her own fingernail polish with rattlesnake venom. Chubby and unpopular Stanley Yelnats is falsely accused of theft and sent to a hellish juvenile detention camp in the Texas desert. The young... more info
Customer Review: Action and suspense create this book. I felt a bit downhearted when Butler changed ( I won't tell you how, because it would ruin the story for you). I highly recommend reading this book.
